Dana Schultz and Carina Kellenberger are both licensed Clinical Social Workers and certified Animal Assisted Social Workers, and have a lifetime of experience working with horses. Their unique therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Relational Therapy and Natural Lifemanship's model of Trauma Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (TF-EAP). Their method focuses on developing adaptive coping and self-regulation skills that are essential for creating and maintaining healthy relationships. They work with people who have experienced trauma, grief, loss, divorce, abuse, neglect, and other challenging life events that contribute to maladaptive behavioral patterns. They bring with them groups from Resilience Rising, Residential, Denver Children's Home, and Mount Saint Vincent Home.
