Greetings Rider Aware Club!
First I want to thank those who attended last month for the mini-fundraiser for Happy Dog Ranch. Mark Rashid and Jim Masterson did an outstanding job informing us, answering questions, signing books, and thoroughly entertaining us with their comedy banter. Your generous donations totaled over $800. On behalf of Rider Aware and Happy Dog Ranch Foundation, THANK YOU!

This month (it’s August already!) I am pleased to introduce Sue Troglio. Sue was suggested as a speaker by Bernadette Spillane, owner of Happy Dog Ranch who has personally used Sue’s therapy. I got to observe Sue working on Bernadette’s dogs and it was fascinating.
One of my missions for Rider Aware Club is to help educate our community to various alternative therapies that are available for our animals. Awareness is power!
Sue Troglio’s offers Bioresonance Therapy (BRT) for animals through her company, Unleashed Energy LLC. I’m not going to try to explain it. Go to www.unleashedenergyllc.com. According to her website, Bioresonance Therapy “can identify and treat symptoms as well as detect underlying causes of disease.”
Sue will be demonstrating on a Happy Dog Ranch horse. If for no other reason than curiosity (and to hang out with cool people), come join us for this demonstration. It may be something to tuck away for future reference.
I will send out a reminder email next week as to where we will be gathering. We will start the demonstration at 6:45.
Bring a dish or drink to share (wine is fine).
Bring a friend.
Bring a donation in any amount. 100% of your donations are tax deductible and go to Happy Dog Ranch Foundation. Speakers generously donate their time and expertise.
Founder, Rider Aware
Don't forget this month's Rider Aware Club, this Thursday, June 14, from 6-8:30pm with Danny Chapparo! We'll be meeting in the detached garage.
Danny Chapparo is the owner and founder of Ashva Yoga Studio in Castle Rock. She is a registered yoga instructor and an equestrian. She has blended these two loves developing Equestrian Yoga and also has created an Equestrian Yoga DVD. Danny will demonstrate on a Happy Dog horse some specific postures and movements relevant to the rider’s body to develop the strength, balance, flexibility and breath awareness that is beneficial not only for our well-being as a rider and horse handler, but that of the horse’s. Check out her website at ashvayoga.com.
Here are the usuals:
· Everyone is invited. Bring a friend.
· Bring a snack or drink to share (wine is fine!).
· Bring your tax deductible donation of any amount for “THE BOOT” in appreciation not only for the speaker but for the meeting space. 100% goes to benefit the outstanding Happy Dog Ranch Foundation outreach programs so checks may be made out to Happy Dog Ranch. Our speakers generously donate their time and expertise to Rider Aware Club.
· Should the gate be closed, the code is 1234.
· Check out happydogranch.org to see the calendar of events.
This is not a Yoga class! Danny will be demonstrating on and off horseback so this will be beneficial for non-riders/horse handlers too.
If you have any questions, email Cyd Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org.
